Round Three - Part 1 (The Cursed OCT)

NOTES:

Trying something a little different this round. Instead of one, big-ass entry, like I did in the first two, I'm going to be splitting Round 3 into three parts.

- Part 1, as you've read, is the setup. There's fighting and all that, but believe it or not we haven't even gotten to the main conflict yet. That's reserved for Part 2.
- Part 2 is going to be MUCH bigger than Part 1. Really, it's the most important part of the entry, and I'm a little worried I might not finish THAT in time. You never know, though.
- Part 3 will essentially be the epilogue - stuff that's important to my overall plot for The Cursed, but not necessarily important to Round 3. I very much aim to finish this on time as well, but my focus really needs to go toward Part 2 right now.



So yeah, let's get to the BIG OL' SPOILERS already:

2. Laria's surprised me so far. Her personality outside of the hunt is a little hard to peg down, but I my best to do the character justice. That being said, she's EXTREMELY fun to write.

3. I PROMISE you, you guys will NOT see the next part of my entry coming. This is going to be the most abstract thing I've done in this OCT thus far - and last round I introduced the lovecraftian 'munchies'. xD There'll be some unexpected plot developments as well, so look forward to that!


And that'll have to be all for now! I've got to get cracking on Part 2 RIGHT NOW if I want to get all three parts done before the deadline. Hope you guys enjoyed reading!
